I am interested in the life behind the question. Not just where you might live or what you might build, but what would make it feel worth getting out of bed for.
There is room to be heard, to follow a surprising thought and to laugh. I might gently question an assumption, spot a pattern, or connect an idea about your work with something you have said about home.
We look beneath the obvious question, notice possibilities and agree useful next steps. You bring your world. I bring curiosity, an unconventional perspective and a lifetime of knowing this island.
More than a beautiful place to live
For me, the pleasure of Guernsey is in the way an ordinary day can feel. A conversation over coffee. A walk with the sea in view. An idea that becomes more interesting when you share it with someone.
Your version might include a swim before work, more time with family, people who share an interest, or a project you finally have room to begin. A business could become part of a life you want, rather than the thing everything else has to fit around.
Finding your place is something you take part in: showing up, being curious and bringing something of yourself. That is where the possibility becomes personal.
What could we open up?
You might be imagining a move while your partner is picturing something different. Perhaps you are building a business and want it to leave room for a good life. Retirement, or life after selling a business, might be opening a new chapter. Investors and private individuals may be wondering what to build, back or support here. Or you may have lived here for years and be ready for something to change.
You do not have to be new to Guernsey, or have a tidy question, to begin.
We can give one important question a full conversation, or meet regularly as things take shape. With an ongoing relationship, we pick up where we left off, try things in the world and return to what we are learning. Life and work can stay in the same conversation.
Sometimes a connection between people or ideas is the useful next step. If an introduction feels right, I ask both sides first. Belonging grows as people show up for one another.

Working together over time
Usually we find a rhythm around a weekly coffee or conversation, with about an hour together as a starting point. I get to know you, your life, your business and what matters around it, so our conversations can go deeper as things unfold.
£2,000 a month is a guide. We agree the involvement and fee together, with flexibility around travel, availability and changing needs. You can cancel any time; larger pieces of work are agreed separately.

A household, employer or business can fund an arrangement we agree personally. The person or household remains central; payment gives no access to private conversations. Any communication with a payer is explicitly agreed with the client beforehand.
